Between two very different men friday she stars in “The Mysteries of Pittsburgh” as aspiring violinist Jane Bellwether, a woman romantically caught.
Jane hopes to get a musical scholarship and leave Pittsburgh, have an affair with Peter Sarsgaard’s Cleveland, a motorcycling force of nature who works for gangsters.
She said earlier this week at Manhattan’s Regency Hotel that“It’s a destructive relationship,”. Life becomes complicated by a gangster’s preppy son, Art Bechstein (Jon Foster), who is dazzled by her.

“I went through this year of working back-to-back-to-back and I didn’t want to stop,” Miller said.
When she made “Mysteries,” she continued, “I’d done ‘Factory Girl,’ ‘Interview’ and something else I don’t remember.” Then she filmed opposite Keira Knightley “The Edge of Love”, which opened in Boston last week.
